History and Major accomplishments
New Life Christian Ministries International mission is to equip Christian believers with discipleship knowledge and skills through discipleship training and church planting where the discipleship class graduates begin to practice the discipling of new believers. We also work on improving the living standard of local community people by providing education, clean safe water and income generating vocational trainings so that they are self confident and able to defense the poverty themselves.
New Life Christian Ministries International was founded in July 2006 by Pastor Meshak Stevens Sebandeke and was duly incorporated in Uganda as Not-for-Profit Christian organization and registered under the laws of Uganda on the 29th February, 2008. (Reg. No. 96366)
New Life Christian Ministries International kicked off with discipleship classes for members in Nawojjo community and started right in the sitting room of Pastor Steven and soon overflowed to his compound. The ministry soon expanded to food helps for the needy families in Nabwojjo community and to the Early Childhood ministry where children in the community attended Bible classes and received medical care through a privately owned clinic in the community, for common children’s ailments like cough and flue. We were concerned about the standard of living for the people in this community. We were also concerned about their spiritual life and were led by God to begin nurturing them to love God and disciple them to disciple others.

As Pastor Steven went beyond Nabwojjo community to upcountry Uganda on discipleship missions, he discovered a great need in the poorer communities in Uganda. This local poverty problem involves finances, food supply, housing, education, health, sanitation, infrastructure and self-esteem. Thus the need for a variety of approaches to be taken to ease impoverishment among the peoples in disadvantaged communities in Uganda. He discovered it’s almost impossible to convince people who lack food, housing, water, education, and are in poor health, that Jesus saves and heals. The two have to be done alongside each other.
Management and Administrative Board
The Board of Directors of New Life Christian Ministries International fully is committed to managing and directing the affairs of all projects and activities undertaken by New Life Christian Ministries in order to achieve the objects stipulated above.
The Board is fully committed to control and safe-guard the resources of the organization and ensuring that they are put to the best use in line with the interests of the donors and the objects of the organisation. The Board will engage the services of an independent external auditor to form an opinion on the organisation’s financial statements before their submission to the stake-holders.
For proper deployment and effective utilization of the organisation’s resources, the Board will hire competent and innovative people with a spirit to serve to manage the affairs of the company. The Board will draft the Terms of Reference(TOR) and Job descriptions before hiring any such service and have the relevant documents signed off by both parties.
